R/b?
Hey, I've been perusing the High End forums and have seen people post a R/B as well as a B/O. What does R/B mean?

Reserve Bid.
Simply an excuse not to sell your item for a price you don't like/want. The most obvious solution would be to set your S/B in a R/B price, but people put instead a R/B when they see their item has some popularity (sp?) and then just put an incredibly high R/B 'cause they're greedy. Or something like that. |

There is the argument that setting reserves increases people posting offers, which keeps your thread bumped. Personally, the whole "hidden reserve" concept seems silly to me, and I don't use them. But the above is the only reason I've ever heard for having them on Ventari auctions that comes close to making sense.

This isn't the place to discuss r/b, so closed.
